But my two problem children met today.

Well... I say “problem children,” honestly the Land Rover has been pretty reliable and the Jag starts, runs, and drives consistently , even if it has quite a few electrical gremlins.

Put the Volvo in storage following it completing a 1000 mile road trip and broke out the Landy. Land Rover is going to get new transmission mounts, new transmission fluid, an oil change, parking brake adjusted, and the sideboards removed. Going to be a busy weekend.

YOU FOOL! Everyone knows you don’t park a jaguar next to a land rover! Somehow, someway, the cosmic rays of lucas electrics will sync up in the next ignition phase and completely shot down all british cars in a 3 mile radius.

I’ll take that as a compliment, but I’m actually in Oklahoma! It is an older neighborhood though. Everything was built between 1915 and 1925.

Hopefully the promise of maintenance will appease the Landy. Like any older sibling I think it is jealous the Jag stole its OBDII scanner and gauge pack...

Christ, of course they’re planning something! Have you never watched a Bond movie? Any time you get a Jag and a Landrover in the same shot it leads directly to lasers, underground lairs and gratuitous explosions.

Hmm actually my MINI did pick up a coolant leak habit sleeping  next to my Jaguar. Although it’s made it to almost 90 with nothing but tires, brakes and oil since warranty ended.

Those have the same hockey puck trans mounts as the D1? Fucking massive pain in the butthole those are. I had to unbolt the motor mounts (and I just replaced them at that point) to get them to line up.

These pretty much look like the engine mounts (which I did last year).

Hopefully they’re not a pain!
